Is Cloud or Cybersecurity a BETTER career for a BEGINNER
Should you go into cloud or cybersecurity jobs? If you're a new person to this industry. Now, if we look at these two different areas, both are emerging. So both have a lot of opportunity available to them, but they act kind of differently and you have to go about them a little bit differently. Typically with cloud cloud roles are more generalist roles.
So you're going to do a lot of the it things you'll probably do cybersecurity kind of things, set up firewalls, security groups, those kinds of things. Right. Then if we look at cybersecurity, you could be doing penetration testing. You could be watching network traffic, looking for malicious activity. You could be dealing with security policies, firewalls that are traditional based firewalls.
You could even be doing cloud security stuff. It really just depends on how the environment is set up, but both are really good opportunities. If you want the one with the absolute most opportunity right now, then I would say cloud.
